CoCompost Planting Blend
Our Co-Compost Planting Blend is a premium biologically active soil blend designed for customers who want more than basic planting soil. Built for long-term soil health, stronger root development, improved moisture management, and enhanced drainage, this blend is ideal for higher-value landscape projects and difficult soil conditions commonly found throughout Northern California.
This blend starts with screened sandy loam topsoil and is combined with composted rice hulls, black mulch, volcanic cinders, and Bio-Char blended compost featuring Bio-Char by Charzar®. The bio-char compost is pre-conditioned and blended into the mix ahead of time to help support beneficial soil biology and improve long-term soil performance.
We also increase drainage characteristics within this blend, making it especially beneficial for sensitive root systems and trees that prefer well-aerated soil conditions.
